Babies pick up on your mood. A gentle smile and eye contact first thing in the morning helps them feel safe and connected.
Wipe down toys and wash hands often, especially before feeds. It’s one of the simplest ways to protect your baby from germs.
Just a few minutes of tummy time a day helps your baby build strong neck and shoulder muscles and encourages movement.
Babies cannot regulate their temperature well. Use light layers and check the back of their neck to see if they’re too warm or cold.
Watch for hunger cues like sucking hands, turning their head, or rooting. These are typically better signs than waiting for a cry.
You know your baby best. If something feels off, never hesitate to ask your clinic nurse or paediatrician for advice.
